Accepting New Patients in Newbury, ON
Yes, Newbury Dental Care is accepting new patients, and we see people of all ages. To join the practice, call (519) 693-4525 or send a message through our contact page. The office is at 1794 Concession Drive, Newbury, ON N0L 1Z0, and the two patient forms on this page can be filled out before your first visit.
How to book your first appointment
Phone the office during the hours listed below and mention that you are new to the practice. Let us know what you would like to come in for, whether that is a routine check-up and cleaning or one particular worry, such as a chipped tooth or a sore spot along the gums. If a phone call is hard to fit into your day, our contact page has a short message form you can use instead.
Patient forms to fill out ahead of time
Two forms are posted here as PDF files: the Patient Registration Form and the Health History Form. Printing them and completing them at home gives you time to look up details such as the names and doses of your medicines, and it means less paperwork in the waiting room. If you have no way to print them, say so when you book.

What to bring to your first visit
- The completed registration and health history forms
- A list of every medicine you take, including over-the-counter products, vitamins and herbal supplements
- Your dental benefits card or plan details, if you have coverage
- Your Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) details, if you are enrolled (we accept the CDCP)
- The name of your previous dental office, if you had one, in case earlier X-rays or records would be useful
Please also mention allergies, recent surgery, pregnancy and any condition your physician is treating, because each of these can change how dental care is planned.
What usually happens at a first appointment
A first appointment generally begins with a look through your health history. A dentist then examines your teeth, gums and the rest of your mouth, and X-rays may be suggested where they are needed to see between teeth or beneath the gum line. Before any treatment starts, you hear what was found and what the choices are, so there is room to ask questions and decide at your own pace. If it has been several years since your last dental visit, just tell us, and the visit starts from where things stand today.
Care for children and the whole family
We provide care for all ages, so parents can book for themselves and for their children. Dentistry for children is one of the services listed on our services page. If your child has never been to a dentist, mention it when you call. Our blog post on creating a dental home explains why having one regular family dentist can help everyone in the household.
